The Walk a thon is a great way to raise money and have fun for the school. 2022 was the 1st year for this event and it turned out great. Kids and families had fun walking the course around the school. This event is held in April during the school day. ​Prizes for the kids and fun for everyone.
The PTO will have various ways to support the teachers and staff. They work hard and have many responsibility's to make sure our students can have a fun and safe learning environment. They teach, they care, they give it their all, every day. The PTO likes to show them the same love they show the students through appreciation activities and gifts. We host a lunch, provide snacks or provide a coffee cart each semester.
This is held every December so kids can shop with their own money for family and friends. The Secret Shop is a great way for ALL kids at Summit to shop for inexpensive gifts at school that everyone will love. ​Donations are provided to make sure everyone can participate.
Carnival
The Carnival is a once-a-year tradition of Summit. We have games, food and prizes for everyone. It has been a few years since we've had this event because of Covid 19.
Grade Level Night
Grade Level night is an event that can be held in the spring or fall where students come together to spend time with their friends inside the gym or on the playground.
School Supply program

Every April we use a company to order school supplies for the next year. It's an easy and fast way for family's to get all their schools supplies at one time online. They will show up on the student's desk on the 1st day of school!
Pool Party or Splash Pad
Every August the school likes to have an activity where the students come out and have fun. We've held the event at Bryan Park Pool and Karst Farm Splash Pad.
